Be prepared for the future - one that is more sustainable. We actively work on creating less waste: less waste for food products, and less packaging material. But we do more than that. ## Masterpack: a sustainable partner for your supply chain Our aim is to work as sustainably and environmentally friendly as we can, in every step of our process and in every one of or manufacturing plants or production locations, all across the globe. We fight food waste with Modified Atmosphere In a nutshell, Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) can greatly increase the shelf life and stability of perishable products. It protects them from pests, diseases and contamination - all without the use of chemicals or harmful products. This makes it also suitable for organic products. It has had an enormous impact on decreasing food spillages. Read more about it in this blog. ### 2. We reduce waste of packaging material with smart techniques Not just food waste, but also packaging materials form a great danger to the environment. Materials that can’t be recycled are a big issue in the supply chain. That’s why we proactively work on creating as little surplus materials as possible, by cutting our liners in the perfect size before they are fitted to their big bags.
